HWANG Ha Young (PhD in Drama, University of Exeter) is Associate Professor in Theatre for Young Audiences at Korea National University of Arts. Before returning to Seoul in 2012, she was Assistant Professor on the Theatre Studies program at National University of Singapore. Her areas of research include embodiment and space in Applied Theatre, the issues of interactivity in TYA and the intercultural dimensions of contemporary TYA in Korea and other parts of Asian region. She is currently Korean Editor of A|S|I|A (Asian Shakespeare Intercultural Archive), overseeing the translation policies as well as the edition of Young Shakespeares in Asia.
